A sanctuary for growth, learning, and development.
Think in Possibilities stands for the work of transformation and well-being: yours and those you encounter in your work, relationships, and community.
It is a life approach built on a positive, creative, and growth mindset, always asking, “what’s possible?”
Are you ready to transform your social work career?
Together, let’s embark on a journey of discovery, growth, and transformation. I embrace and integrate creative, experiential, and therapeutic methodologies, incorporating poetry, journaling, and music, along with practices of mindfulness, self-compassion, kindness, and gratitude. These tools are not only central to my philosophy but are also proven catalysts for professional development, personal growth, and enhanced well-being
Philosophy & Approach
Everyone has an important story to tell.
Being heard & understood is central to our well-being.
My approach to social work and to clinical supervision is to walk alongside you as you tell your story, make sense of your life experiences, heal, and grow. The work we do together is heavily informed by positive psychology, poetry/bibliotherapy, and practices for self-care and well-being.
Positive Psychology
Because I am drawn to a strengths-based view of the human experience, I pursued and earned a certificate on the science of positive psychology through the University of Pennsylvania Positive Psychology Center via Coursea.
“Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths that enable individuals and communities to thrive. The field is founded on the belief that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best within themselves, and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play.”

Bibliotherapy, Poetry Therapy & Therapeutic Writing
Guided therapeutic writing, bibliotherapy & poetry therapy each utilize and recognize the therapeutic value of literary materials, poetry, film, and writing in the learning and healing processes. My personal and professional experience has convinced me of the immense healing power of writing, journaling, and poetry.
“Bibliotherapy literally means books, or literature, to serve or help medically. Poetry Therapy is a specific and powerful form of bibliotherapy, unique in its use of metaphor, imagery, rhythm, and other poetic devices.”

Practices for Well-Being
Like the fields of positive psychology and poetry therapy, there is significant research showing powerful evidence of positive outcomes for those who integrate mindfulness, self-compassion, gratitude, and kindness into their lives.
“Research indicates that self-compassion is one of the most powerful sources of coping and resilience we have available to us, radically improving our mental and physical wellbeing. It motivates us to make changes and reach our goals not because we’re inadequate, but because we care and want to be happy. ”
